Melbourne Zoo, one of the world’s oldest zoos, established this Japanese strolling garden in 1991 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the sister-state relationship between Aichi Prefecture and the State of Victoria.

Designed as a traditional strolling garden, it provides a peaceful place for visitors of all ages to relax and enjoy the beauty of the Japanese landscape.
